Howdy, folks!  It’s been a little while but we’re back with a new ditty:

This is a tune based on REAL LIFE ADVENTURES in Southern Illinois.  It marks the Trio’s first foray into doo wop.  It’s pretty long at 5+ minutes because it’s broken into 3 parts.  Plenty of beautiful singing as always.  Enjoy!

Showdown

This is a song tells a tale set in the old West.  It’s got whiskey, guns and whores.  What more do you want from a song?  Oh and I believe this marks DMc3′s first foray in to the banjo.  Will more banjo be used in the future?  Only time will tell.

Hello hello hello there…

’tis us, the Duane McCoy Trio.  This new Web site has been too long in coming but it is finally here at last.  You might be asking yourself, “What on Earth does a band like Duane McCoy Trio even need a Web site?  They never tour and only put out a new album every 5 years.”  Touché.  The answer is simple:

Y’all have stuck with us through thick and thin!  And now we are here to reward you.  If you visit our Downloads page you will see the entire legacy of the Trio laid out bare before your eyes, as well as BRAND SPANKING NEW TUNES!  The new tunes are

• Age of Gods – A complete face-blisterer that will teach you all about Greek history
• Ol’ M’waukee Polka – DMc3 keep the polka rolling!
• Bosnian Bon Voyage! – A bouncy little tune that tells of the gang’s travels to Bosnia and the women… oh, the women!
• Whiskey River – Ridiculously slow country song that teaches you that soaking your sorrows in liquor is a good thing to do when you are sad

Also for the first time ever, the COMPLETE copy of “Duane & Bax’s Afternoon Delight” has been posted.  This includes he long-hidden cover of Melanie Banks plus a few extra surprises.

The new goal of the DMc3 will be to post songs to the Web site as we write ‘em, because y’all don’t deserve to wait 5 years until the next album is done!!  Keep it tuned here.  Grand adventures are still to come (and there will be more pages put up on the site over time).
